I have always loved being active. I started walking at 8 months so my mom thought the idea of putting me in dance at the age of two would be a good one. I started to teach dance and began choreography at 15. My dad was a doctor so being healthy was always modeled. I was a middle school teacher of health and wellness, so continually learning and leading healthy choices is a constant. I currently teach Yoga and Pilates. Always moving. Pilates makes me feel strong on the inside. A balance of body, mind and heart. I’m grateful to be able to have healthy posture and alignment and movement. I love being a part of seeing people make progress in strengthening their bodies and their minds and feeling good. I like the community we have built that serves our individual goals in the spirit of togetherness. Only good things come from Pilates, coordination, balance, prevention of injuries, stability, body awareness, all of the muscles working together, tending to the finer ones. Pilates restores health and wellness in an environment with a tribe of supporters. Our bodies are these incredible machines. We need to take care of them so we can play until we are 100!

  • HH | Level 1/2 | Pilates Class
  • *HAPPY HOUR* This class is a great deal! A "Happy Hour" Level 1/2 Class is a class that is offered at half price (only $20 for drop-ins); otherwise it is just like a regular Level 1/2 class. New to Pilates? Need a higher fitness level than our intro class? This class is for you. This 55-minute long Pilates class uses the Balanced Body Allegro II Reformer to teach proper alignment and the fundamentals of Pilates. We incorporate traditional Pilates principles with innovative strength training and cardio exercises to give you a total body workout that will strengthen and lengthen your muscles. This class focuses on the basics and is designed to leave you feeling refreshed while also helping to improve strength, flexibility and core stability. The class will have the complexity of a Level 1 class, but the fitness level/pace of a Level 2 class.
     

  • Level 2 | Pilates Class
  • This Pilates class is designed for the client that is ready to expand on the foundations developed from taking Level 1 Pilates classes. The classes will move at a faster pace and assume you understand basic cueing and technique. Minimal breaks will be taken during class. Class instruction will be delivered to the average fitness level for the clients in attendance. Modification to make the exercises harder or easier will be given by the instructor.

  • Level 1 | Circuit Training Jump Class
  • This class is designed for clients that have never taken Pilates classes anywhere and also, those simply new to RTR Pilates. All clients are required to begin in a Level 1 Pilates class. For those that have never taken Pilates before, the class will introduce you to the equipment, teach you body positioning and prepare you for a Level 2 Pilates class. For those that have taken Pilates before just not at RTR Pilates, this class will help you with terminology and cueing specific to RTR Pilates and prepare you to assimilate to a Level 2 Pilates class safely and easily. ALL CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE A MINIMUM OF ONE LEVEL 1 PILATES CLASS. No matter your fitness level, you will get a workout from the Level 1 Pilates classes.
     

  • Level 2 | Circuit Training Jump Class
  • This all-in-one class is a challenging, fast paced workout for Intermediate clients. You'll burn fat by working into cardio intervals while also toning, and lengthening muscles with traditional Pilates exercises. By moving quickly between exercises, using a plethora of props and incorporating a unique combination exercises, this class is never boring and always a challenge. This class will use the Pilates equipment and Jump Board to strengthen your core, improve posture and tone your entire body.

  • Level 1/2 | Pilates Class
  • New to Pilates? Need a higher fitness level than our intro class? This class is for you. This 55-minute long Pilates class uses the Balanced Body Allegro II Reformer to teach proper alignment and the fundamentals of Pilates. We incorporate traditional Pilates principles with innovative strength training and cardio exercises to give you a total body workout that will strengthen and lengthen your muscles. This class focuses on the basics and is designed to leave you feeling refreshed while also helping to improve strength, flexibility and core stability. The class will have the complexity of a Level 1 class, but the fitness level of a Level 2 class. 

  • Level 1 | Pilates Class
  • New to Pilates? Need a gentler workout? This class is for you. This 55-minute long Performance Pilates class uses the Balanced Body Allegro II Reformer to teach proper alignment and the fundamentals of Pilates. We incorporate traditional Pilates principles with innovative strength training and cardio exercises to give you a total body workout that will strengthen and lengthen your muscles. This class focuses on the basics and is designed to leave you feeling refreshed while also helping to improve strength, flexibility and core stability. 

  • Level 2 | Pilates Class
  • This Pilates class is designed for the client that wants a more challenging workout than the Level 1/2 Pilates classes. The class will have no breaks between exercises, the class assumes that you are equipped to modify for any injuries or preexisting conditions you may have. The pace of the class is geared towards the most advanced client in the classroom. To make the class more challenging the instructor will provide more repetitions per exercise, increase/decrease the weight of the spring, increase the pace of transitions and make the exercises more complex, increase/decrease the weight of the spring, and increase the pace of transitions.
